Vito’s lifelong work as a performer and producer has resulted in a deep understanding and appreciation of the fine nuances of musicality.
As he refers to himself, he’s a Sound Painter with the music and musicians as the brushes and paint.
“Primordial Sonics was the coming together of a few pieces I composed for trailers, theatre and TV that seemed to all have a common musical mood. Joining them into a single project seemed natural and organic. Also over the last few years I'd done a number of performances with various Didjeridu players that were so creative, exciting and inspiring that I wanted to incorporate that instrument (and it's 'primordial energy') into this evolving project. So I turned to Didjeridu virtuoso Stephen Kent, who has been a good friend and collaborator over the years.
The resulting project ventures from relaxing ambience to energetic earthy grooves and everything in between."
"Primordial Sonics" has been labeled as Ambient Aboriginal Fusion, blending Australian Didjeridu, Indian Sitar, Esraj, Tabla & Bansuri, Persian Santoor and western beats/grooves.Also features Yoga chantreuse Donna De Lory and Manose (Deva Premal).
